ok but cam and maya spent most of that night watching silly videos on their phones and then in the morning cam left maya a silly video on her phone oh god
nobody aside from that small committee has seen the video yearbook yet so imagine when maya watches that video for the first time. maybe katie will show it to her whole family just for fun. maya’ll probably be assuming that there’s just happy times comprised of her sister and all her senior friends and then all of a sudden a clip of cam playing hockey comes up and then a clip of her and cam in the garden being happy and alive and having fun. and then maya just sits there as the tears begin to fall, but she’s not completely bawling her eyes out because she already got through her first huge break down, they are just silent tears as she keeps a straight face even when her family looks at her with their worried faces but on the inside maya knows she’ll be okay eventually so she closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, and then just smiles because it happened
katie and maya’s relationship really has been one of the closest sibling relationships we’ve seen, definitely the closest this season, and it’s going to be really sad when katie isn’t around to be a big sister to maya i mean there’s so much that goes with being a sibling especially in their scenario, it’s a lot to let go of once she leaves i’m going to be so sad

i think i’m most sad about katie and jake graduating like not just as jatie but as individual characters because they are really quality characters
